KFJ 8 – The Journey-Gratitude and Appreciation

November is a month that represents a time of appreciation because I was born in November. Also, those familiar with the Thanksgiving tradition know it is celebrated in November. Growing up in Poland, I was unaware of this holiday, but since I learned about Thanksgiving, I have decided it is my favorite holiday. It feels so good to express gratitude for people and this beautiful world. More than anything, I am grateful for God in my life. All I have and all that I am, I give credit to Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

As I was collecting my thoughts and resources, I felt such gratitude for having the opportunity to share experiences related to my top favorite topic—gratitude, and appreciation.

In this episode, I talk about things and events that I am grateful for, mainly for my life and the Savior!

Gordon B. Hinckley said, “When you walk with gratitude, you do not walk with arrogance, conceit, and egotism. You walk with a spirit of thanksgiving that is becoming to you and will bless your lives.”

In closing, I play one of my songs in Polish, “Lubię” (I Like or Adorations)

The translation is

Lyrics Text: I like, I like the rain on a window,

I like, I like a strong wind,
I like to look at the raindrops,
– the world looks different.

Everything seems so simple,
There is not much to say,
Like the trees blooming in the Spring,
Everything has its beginning.

I like, I like solitary walks,
I like, I like the smell of lilacs.
I like when I get wet in the rain,

And when I cry, I am not ashamed of my tears.
You know, I want to enjoy it!
Everything that is around me.
Every minute of my day,
Why not say, “I like?”
